A Day in England, Preparing & Touring

We flew out of Boston on Wednesday evening, June 8, taking our boxed disassembled bikes and all of our gear. Landing in London, we had our bikes re-assembled at a bike shop, and took the opportunity to do a little touring in London. We had a bird's-eye view of the city from the 443 foot high London Eye ferris wheel, the third tallest ferris wheel in the world and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK.

On Friday morning, we head to Dover to catch the ferry to Dunkirk, France, beginning our cross-continental trip to St. Petersburg, Russia.
